NEW PLATFORM FOR NORMALES SCHOOLS
Today, many
teachers from different Normales Schools around the state of Mexico did a
training program, at Atizapán de Zaragoza Normal, about the platform English Discoveries. The licenses to this
platform were acquired by DGESPE as a tool to reinforce and track down the students’
progress.
I feel very
motivated because as we (Los Formadores de inglés “C” en Escuelas Normales) were
using it, we could sense the practicality and functionality it has to empower
both, students and teachers in the use of the English language.
The platform will also increase the exposure to the language up to 3 hours per
week, giving students the opportunity to practice at home.
This great effort,
made by our authorities, also represents a step forward to apply innovative teaching
methods, specifically Blended Learning and Teaching.
