“ THE LIVING MUSEUM”

By Nancy Reyes

With the fine attention, let me introduce myself, I am Nancy Araceli Reyes López, current student of the Normal School of the Reyes Acaquilpan, member of the 1st "II" of the degree in primary education, I share this time an opinion article about an activity developed in the institution that I mentioned is where I study, which was carried out concluding the second semester and that was an activity that takes by name and was about a "living museum" where all the students of 1st, which are three groups (1 ° "I", 1 ° "II" and 1 ° "III") chose an important or prominent character of the history of the world in terms of different categories, such as, for example, the history, art, politics and science.

In the development of this event, each section was formed on the outside of the library to wait for the presentation by the classmates of 1st "I" (Fatima and Gustavo) who participated as drivers of the event, to start to the activity and that each set in rows would enter waving to the crowd that would act as a spectator until arriving at the place where they would present their work causing an interest in the public for the creativity of the students in terms of the physical representation of the characters, in addition to the I want to listen to how they use the language of English respectively to the structure of dialogue and pronunciation as well as the performance skills of each student.

Giving continuity to the event, the spectators (directors, teachers of the institution, classmates of other grades and parents) approached the character they wanted to hear and played their shoulder gently and the character began to speak, in this way the spectator gave a star with a quantitative value which was a symbol that denoted a qualification as an encouragement to work and dedication to each of the students who represented their assigned character.

That is why it was understood that the activity was to encourage cognitive exercise in students as well as generate a remembrance of analysis, reflection and identity through graphic representation, all with the purpose that in the didactic process that this implies generate a critical and comprehensive thinking in their academic training as to cultivate in the student this type of activities will give a wide range of strategies when it is in the educational level that corresponds and in turn can transmit this identity to their students since English is an important competence in the profile of graduates in primary education because it opens many doors in the professional field.

  1. Hello I am a teacher in training, and I like the participation of students in the second semester in the English subject through the project-based learning strategy, it is a great opportunity to develop and develop new social practices of language, we currently live In a society of change in which learning has passed too quickly, this transition between the strengthening and dissemination of the English language becomes decisive as future education professionals. and I have nothing left to say but many congratulations for the good work and above all, we must not stop learning but instead grow much more and break the borders at the time of teaching because as we know well the practice and time are the Best teachers but Michel Marín Nájera.
    I end with this phrase:
If you change the way you see things, the things you see change
